BAYANI is the first All-Filipino made a fighting game that is heavily inspired by the Philippines’ rich history, culture, and mythology.
BAYANI is a fast-paced, 1-on-1, indie fighting game made by an all Filipino development team and it draws heavily from the Philippines’ rich and colorful history, culture, and mythology. The game features a combination of 2D fighting gameplay and full 3D graphics that modern fighting game players will be familiar with.
BAYANI [3 syll. ba-ya-ni] is the Filipino term for Hero–someone who is admired for their outstanding qualities, valor, and noble qualities. It is also related to the Filipino word, Bayanihan, which is the Filipino spirit for camaraderie and community spirit. The title Bayani is given to notable individuals who have impacted the history of the country in a meaningful way.
CHARACTER AND ENVIRONMENT DESIGN.
PUBLIC GAME DEMO
BAYANI gathered lots of good feedback from its follower in facebook page. On my own perspective, the reason why is that the developer, Ranida Games, is the first indie game developer in the Philippines with good marketing techniques and strategies like in the big companies. Also, their games are meticulously designed and developed.
BUDGET ALLOCATION FROM BACKERS.
Here’s a breakdown on how we plan to use the funds to aid in completing our base game of 8 characters:
- Game Development (60%) – A huge chunk of the funds will go towards our game development that includes programming and improvements of all art assets.
- Animation (15%) – funds will also be allocated as further polish in our animation will be done to bring our characters to life.
- Music, VO and Sounds (15%) – portion of the fund will be used to produce the rest of the original soundtrack. Likewise, to help cover the production cost for voice overs and sound effects.
- Fees & Taxes (10%) – this will cover the Kickstarter & Transfer fees and other taxes.
HEROES OF BAYANI : KANINO KABA KAKAMPI.
This are just a few of the heroes listed in the game. This is originally Philippine Heroes but with a little bit of twist.
